Job Overview:
As a Managed Service Provider specializing in cybersecurity and compliance, we seek a dynamic and self-driven individual to join our Cybersecurity and Compliance Specialist team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology and networking, coupled with expertise in cybersecurity compliance.
This role requires a practical mindset, with the ability to identify potential security risks and compliance gaps and provide practical solutions and recommendations for mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Cybersecurity Assessment and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments for clients to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance gaps.
- Analyze existing technology and network infrastructures to assess security posture.
2) Compliance Management:
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance standards relevant to cybersecurity.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure clients adhere to regulatory requirements.
3) Solution Development:
- Propose and implement practical cybersecurity solutions to address identified risks and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement security measures tailored to their specific needs.
4) Client Interaction:
- Engage directly with clients to present findings and recommendations clearly and convincingly.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building relationships and effectively communicating the importance of cybersecurity and compliance measures.
5) Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports outlining assessment findings, recommended solutions, and compliance status.
- Maintain accurate documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
6) Continuous Learning and Certification:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity and compliance.
- Pursue relevant certifications to enhance professional expertise.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity and compliance roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Certifications (a plus):
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CompTIA Security+
