We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong MSP operations /Automation background, exceptional PowerShell scripting proficiency, and a passion for process optimization. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions to streamline workflows, improve efficiency & customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience with 2 year’s experience in a similar role within an MSP environment.
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Rewst or similar IT automation platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of RPA concepts and experience with RPA tools.
- Proficiency in RMM tools such as, Datto RMM or similar platforms.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional development
Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline processes within our MSP environment.
- Develop and maintain robust PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Utilize RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools to automate repetitive tasks and optimize operational workflows.
- Leverage RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools to automate system monitoring, patch management, and network administration.
- Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and implementing automation solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex issues in a more simplified way
- Document processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
- Develop custom connectors, workflows, and alerts
